Stop running, take a deep breath, think.
We tamed animals on the land, the lions, the tigers,
Even the elephants, the largest of them.
Tamed animals in the waters, the whales, the sharks,
The fiercest of them, kings of their world!
Even the animals in the skies, the flying ones.
Trillions of bacteria that live within us,
The good, the bad, all of them we tamed.
Live they with our mercy, and die at our will!
Tamed the mighty rivers, the volcanoes,
Mountains stop us not; tunnel we through them.
The oceans stop us not; we go deeper, touch the ground.
Mighty are we, taming nature at will.
Can’t tame our minds though,
Meek and helpless, we surrender, like kids so weak!
